Postcard text: "William H. Bonney, better known as BILLY, THE KID. An authentic picture of the famous outlaw from an original tintype, which showing the object in reverse, made him appear left-handed, causing much comment by writers as he is known to have been right-handed. The print is reversed from the original to show him as he really appeared."
